6K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago As a non - exempt Belk Visual Security Associate your primary role will be providing a consistent visual theft deterrence and positively impacting the customer experience.
The Visual Security Associate will be assigned a strategic location in the store and will be tasked with monitoring activity in the area.
The VSA will perform additional duties as assigned with a cooperative approach to improve overall store experience.
Job Functions Support a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Support the store as a visual deterrence to theft to maintain a safe store environment.
Greet customers and maintain a designated area of responsibility inside the store to observe the customer experience and identify activities that may indicate potential theft.
Effectively communicate customer concerns or behaviors to store leaders.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to assigned dress code.
Position Contribution Level :
Entry Level Minimum Education &
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience not required.
Preferred Education &
Experience:
Experience in retail preferred but not required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to operate standard phone, computer, calculator, and other business machines.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform some lifting (25-50 lbs) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Reporting Relationships:
Supervisor - Store Asset Protection Manager or Store Manager Supervises - None.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
